Reflections of Commitment and Comfort

Many terrific people helped my father at Bella Terra Bloomingdale. His progress in the two months he was there was amazing. B was instrumental in recognizing how to address my dad’s needs while providing comfort and respect. Grace was like another granddaughter to him; seeing how well she interacted with him was a pleasure. I watched Dad do physical therapy with Joy, and she was amazing. The wound care nurse was so kind in calling me each week to report on the improvement of his wound. It’s truly special people that work in rehabilitation and nursing facilities. Each patient is different, and I am genuinely grateful for the help you provided my dad. I am thankful for all you do at Bella Bloomingdale.

I have a few family members who are current and past Bella Terra Bloomingdale residents, and I can truly say that the staff is great. Every time I visited, they always gave me updates about their health status. They are very accommodating and genuinely care about the residents’ well-being. My wife, Patricia’s rehabilitation care at Bella Terra Bloomingdale was truly remarkable. She needed occupational therapy due to sudden health issues. Elmhurst Hospital’s immediate response to Patricia’s condition impressed me. I chose Bella Terra Bloomingdale because I had prior knowledge of the facility’s positive reputation – I used to work two doors down from the facility at the fire department for 32 years. Once my wife arrived at Bella Terra, I was pleasantly surprised by the facility’s cleanliness and the efficiency of the staff. The care and attention to the patient’s needs and the pleasant atmosphere were exceptional, and the food quality exceeded my and my wife’s expectations. The attentive and polite staff consistently catered to the patient’s needs, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment. One of the many incredible staff members our family loves at Bella Terra Bloomingdale, Marzena, is moving and today was her last day. We wish her the best of luck and the best life has to offer.
